On my way home

In a few hours, my sister and I will be flying back to Manila. I can still vividly remember my lunch in Cafe France last Saturday and I can't believe it's already Tuesday. Time indeed flies fast if you're having fun...so much fun.

Anyways, when I come back I still have an extra day to recharge and transition for work. I cannot imagine the stress I'll be expecting next week on the job. It's like this one final dreaded stretch before I take my major vacation in December. I hope I make it by then.

As my cousin, sister and I are lounging at my aunt's veranda, I noticed I am craving for Japanese. My mind has been set when my uncle said earlier that we'll have dinner there before dropping us at the airport. Nonki is my uncle's favorite Japanese restaurant, in fact, in all my trips in Cebu I would eat here at least once. From the interiors to the freshness of their sashimis, it's a go-to place for an authentic japanese craving. They have a branch near the airport and in P-Remedios street, which is incidentally a 7 minute drive from my aunt's house. How convenient.

It's now cloudy in Cebu with occasional rains. This always happens when I leave. I'm not superstitious or anything, but this always happens...always. It just makes goodbye extra sad.

Till my next visit, Cebu.
