As soon as I have my coffee and have a comfortable location, I sit down, relax and contemplate for hours. I notice my dogs do it with me too. If they see me just staring into space, they'd gather around me, take their positions, sit and stare at the horizon until they see something worth chasing. But usually, they'd just stay put. It's like a queen with her subjects. In this mood, no one would bother us for hours.
But I do wonder what they contemplate about. Do dogs contemplate? Do they think of me? Food? Bath? Their lives? Their mother? Their long lost siblings? Their future?
It would've been nice to peer into their thoughts sometimes.
